<<Special subject>>2005/08/13 up! 2001 were a memorable year called opening of a new century. However, many dark news, such as economic depression and terrorism,　happened in the world. Especially the suicide attack on the New York trade center buildings was a very shocking incident. Probably, there are some people who remember the kamikaze attacks by Japan carried out 68 years ago. Many young Japanese solders lost their life in the suicide attacks by airplanes which held a bomb, "in order to protect the Japanese state and Japanese family." And Japan was defeated. Absolutism was buried, and democracy was acquired. The Japan plaza opens a homepage to this new　year. We mourn for many people who got damaged by terrorism in the New York trade center buildings, and the subsequent Afghanistan and Iraq wars. And we wish that these things do not occur again. August 15 which is the day of Japanese defeat, and became a big turning point for our country. We featured an experience of this day.
