There is culture that is very beautiful graceful clothes in Japan.
Kimonos were the clothes of Japanese people's everyday life till
before World War II.
Now,when women also attend tea ceremony, flower arrangement, ceremonies
of coming of age, marriage, funeral, and ancestral worship, and
formal events ,they wear kimonos.
When drawing, dyeing or making designs of kimonos, many man powers
is needed.
Moreover, when craftsmen weave the cloth of kimonos, hand-looms
are used in many cases. So Kimonos are very expensive now.
Kimonos used to develop with Edo (old Tokyo)epoch culture.
Producers inherited tradition in Edo Kyoto and Kanazawa, and they
are producing very excellent clothes as Yuzen, Nisijin and Komon.
Although there are few numbers in our site, but we introduce very
beautiful kimono sights, we hope that visitors will enjoy themselves.
