Part 2 "The telephone rings"

The telephone rings.

As my wife has low blood pressure, once she falls asleep, she will rarely get up.
I thought " what's the time now ?"
My consciousness was waking up gradually and I remembered that
today I went to bed a little earlier .
I had to do a big presentation next week, and I had to prepare for it . Creating the materials for the presentation was very hard work for me and the work was continuing every day. I was entirely tired, so I went to bed a little earlier tonight.
I didn't want to get out of bed .I wished that my wife would wake up or the telephone would stop ringing .
However, this was not the case .As the telephone didn' t stop ,I was disappointed .
And I remembered , today was a weekday.

Except in the case of an emergency, telephones don't ring at midnight This is irrational.
My anger became stimulated , and, I decided to rise.
I wondered who was calling my house so late and took the receiver with keeping a calm attitude.
"Is this the house of Miss Megumi Shirakawa ?" said someone whose voice was haughty and businesslike and he seemed not to have any concern for my feelings.
"Yes, I am her father." I said
"This is the traffic division of M police station." someone said "In fact, Miss Megumi caused an accident with a motorbike which was stolen . And she is now taken care of at this police station . You should come here for taking her. "
"The injury to her body is not severe, however, since a procedure of identity is required, I would like you to come here."
I was shocked about this unexpected occurrence. And the threat to her safty.
When I looked at my clock, it was already after 12:00 p.m.
In order to go to the police station, there was almost no time left to catch the last train.
I thought for a moment to say, "Can I go tomorrow ?",but did not say it, since it was an irrational question.
Bad actions were repeated by my daughter, so I got angry at her.
On the other hand, I had a feeling of relief that she was not injured.
My wife was awake as she felt the unusual situation, and she was near to me and heard my telephone conversationat at the time. I hang up the telephone and I explained the content of the telephone call with the police station briefly to her.
I was looking at my wife's eyes, and said "We go to the police station immediately" And I asked her to get dressed.
I fell on the bed, and I felt nausea because of shock and anger.
Then I waited several minutes until my nausea subsided.
